Man pleads not guilty to charges

A Streeter man pleaded not guilty to three charges of gross sexual imposition Monday in Southeast District Court in Jamestown.

Robert Huss, 39, appeared for a preliminary hearing and arraignment on the three Class A felony charges. Huss appeared without an attorney and said he is in the process of hiring one. The preliminary hearing was held and Huss pleaded not guilty during the arraignment. Huss is free on a personal recognizance bond.

According to court documents, between March 1 and 31 Huss allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a girl under the age of 15 three different times at a residence in Streeter.

A Class A felony charge has a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
