Volunteers needed for Alzheimer’s walk

The Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota and North Dakota is seeking volunteers to help with its Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sept. 9 at Scheels Arena, 5225 31st Ave. S in Fargo.

The walk is a fundraising event to raise money and increase awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 10 a.m. and the walk at 10:20 a.m.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Once registered, a participant will have access to a wide range of tools and support.
