Patrol responds to 35 crashes Monday
The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to 35 crashes in Stutsman, Barnes and Cass counties Monday.
Most of the crashes happened in Stutsman and Barnes counties on Interstate 94. The patrol said there were also some crashes on Interstate 29 in Cass County. A travel alert was issued at 9:46 a.m. Monday and it became a no travel advisory in the south central part of the state at 2:33 p.m. the patrol said.
The travel advisory was lifted at 7 a.m. Tuesday, but difficult driving conditions still exist, mainly ice covered roads, strong winds and blowing snow over roadways, the patrol said. The patrol said drivers should check road conditions before traveling and drive appropriate speeds for road conditions.
