One person was injured in an accident on icy roads near Jamestown Tuesday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 5:03 p.m. on Interstate 94 at mile marker 261. Glazed ice in the wheel tracks and blowing snow were reported at the time.
A 2002 Ford F150 driven by James Mulfinger, 69, Bismarck, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 94 when it slid out of control, crossed the median and entered the westbound lane where it struck a 2005 Honda Civic driven by Jason Siebert, 42, Mandan.
Siebert and his passenger, Faith Siebert, 16, Mandan, sustained minor injuries. Mulfinger received serious but not life-threatening injuries and was transported by Jamestown Ambulance to Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
