Plane crashes in field north of Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS - The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are responding to a downed small aircraft near the intersection of Columbia Road and 70th Avenue North.

The aircraft, which appears to be a crop-duster, crashed into a field along Columbia Road, east of the interchange at Interstate 29 and North Washington Street about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.

No information on the condition of the pilot is available.
