Tourism business workshop scheduled
This year’s North Dakota tourism development workshop, “Growing Tourism Businesses in a Growing North Dakota,” is scheduled April 14 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo.
Keynote speaker will be Joanne Steele from Rural Tourism Marketing Group. Steele has worked with communities and business owners throughout the U.S. and Canada to help them bring more visitors to their destinations. Other session topics include steps for starting or growing your business and how to turn your ideas into reality. There will also be a panel featuring operators who have successfully started a tourism-related business, resources for starting or growing a tourism business, and a networking lunch.Sponsored by North Dakota Tourism, the workshop is a kickoff to the 2014 North Dakota Travel Industry Conference.
