Trial set for former teacher in sex case
BISMARCK (AP) -- A May trial date has been set for a former Bismarck teacher accused of having sex on multiple occasions with a 17-year-old girl.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that South Central District Judge Donald Jorgensen scheduled John Allen Krueger's trial for May 15 and 16. Krueger has pleaded not guilty to three counts of felony correction or solicitation of minors. Each count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Police said the girl told a police detective she had sex with Krueger at his home, at a hotel and at a radio station where he also worked.
Krueger was the instrumental music director at St. Anne School, Cathedral Grade School and St. Mary's Grade School. He resigned from the position in February.
