Underage drinking enforcement results in 114 citations
North Dakota law enforcement agencies issued 114 citations during October as part of an effort to prevent underage drinking in the state.
Additional patrols were deployed resulting in 13 counts of minor in consumption, nine counts of minor in possession, seven counts of open container, six counts of driving under the influence and 10 drug-related charges.
The added patrols resulted in two felony arrests, six warrants served and 13 speeding tickets.
Funding for the additional patrols was provided by federal grant money administered by the North Dakota Department of transportation.
