Oklahoma men accused of pointing gun at ND couple
MINOT, N.D. (AP) -- Two Oklahoma men have been indicted in federal court for allegedly threatening two people with a gun while driving on a North Dakota Indian reservation.
Thirty-two-year-old Jeremy Shelton and 29-year-old John Beard, both of Eufaula, Okla., are charged with terrorizing.
Authorities say the incident happened in the early evening hours of Oct. 2, after the suspects allegedly pulled alongside a 24-year-old man and 28-year-old woman who were driving on a highway west of New Town.
One of the defendants allegedly pointed a gun at the couple. Police say they recovered a shotgun and pistol.
