City Council approves website redesign

The Jamestown City Council approved a redesign of its website.

Jeff Fuchs, city administrator, told the City Council Monday the old website was obsolete and the software could not be updated. The city website,,has been down for about a week.

A proposal from Josh Smaage to redesign the site for between $7,650 and $8,900 was accepted by the council. Portions of the new website should be operational within one week, Fuchs said.

In other business, the City Council named Gary Staab to a five-year term on the Jamestown Regional Airport Authority, and Harvey Schuh was named to a three-year term on the Jamestown Board of Adjustments.
