Homeless coalition to ring Red Kettle bells next week
Members of the South Central Homeless Coalition will ring bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign next week, according to Cassie DuBray, deputy director of the Stutsman County Housing Authority.
Members and their friends are scheduled to ring bells at Cash Wise Foods from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 11-12 at Cash Wise Foods in Jamestown.
The Salvation Army is hoping to reach a goal of $140,000 during the Red Kettle Campaign. Individuals or groups interested in volunteering as bell ringers can contact the Salvation Army at 252-0290.
The South Central Homeless Coalition’s purpose shall be to advocate, coordinate, and optimize services for homeless men, women and children within Region 6 of the South Central Human Service Center. Those counties are: Barnes, Dickey, Foster, Griggs, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, Stutsman, and Wells.
