Former Jamestown Mayor Charlie Kourajian dies at 87

Main Street ND Summit to be streamed live

Portions of the Main Street ND Summit scheduled for Monday and Tuesday in Bismarck will be streamed live on the internet.

Streaming live Monday will be the welcome and keynote address by Gov. Doug Burgum at 10:15 a.m., Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford’s speech at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon keynote address at 12:30 p.m. by Charles Marohn, founder of Strong Towns, a media organization leading a national movement for change.

Main Street ND Summit will bring together local and national community development experts and advocates to share best practices and engage community leaders, entrepreneurs and students in envisioning North Dakota’s future.

The North Dakota Department of Commerce and Burgum have hosted meetings with leaders across North Dakota to receive updates on each region’s needs and providing information on state development programs.
