Damage reported in two-vehicle crash

More than $7,000 in damaged occurred from a two-car accident Oct. 22, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The collision happened at 6:28 a.m. at the intersection of 13th Street and 12th Avenue Northeast.

Tyler Traut, 34, 408 23rd Ave. NE, was driving a 1994 Dodge east on 13th Street and entered the intersection with 12th Avenue.

Debra Olson, 51, 1014 16th St. NE No. 20, was stopped at a stop sign on 12th Avenue at the intersection with 13th Street in a 2011 Honda.

Olson proceeded into the intersection and struck the vehicle Traut was driving.

Olson and Traut were wearing their seat belts and neither was injured.

Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Dodge and $5,000 to the Ford.

Olson was cited for failure to yield after stopping.
