Power outage affects northwest Jamestown
Northwest Jamestown experienced a power outage for about two and a half hours Wednesday.
The power went out about 10:30 a.m. and was restored after Otter Tail Power Co. workers found the underground fault, meaning an underground cable that went bad, said Jeff Hoff, customer service manager at Otter Tail’s Jamestown office.
“It’s a little bit tougher to find where (an underground fault) is at,” Hoff said.
About 800 customers were affected during the outage, he said.
