Badal to retire in February

Snow removal plan announced for city of Jamestown

Officials in Jamestown are anticipating snowy weather as today progresses. The engineer's office announced its snow removal plans this morning even before snow began to accumulate.

City crews will begin downtown snow removal at 11 p.m. tonight (Monday.) Downtown businesses are asked to move snow off of the sidewalks and into the street no later than 9 p.m. tonight.

Residential area snow removal will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday and continue during normal working hours. Due to the predicted weather conditions, the snow gates used to prevent snow ridges at the end of driveways are being removed from the snow plows for this storm.
