Police seek public’s help on BB gun cases

The Jamestown Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about a series of criminal mischief cases that happened April 7-8.

Detective Brian Miller said three vehicles and one business were damaged by what appears to be a BB gun on the night of April 7 into the morning hours of April 8. Miller said he would not identify the victims of these crimes nor disclose addresses because the addresses would identify the victims.

Miller said two incidents happened in southwest Jamestown, one was in the northeast and the other on 1st Avenue. He said windows of vehicles were shot out, and the main window for the business was also damaged.

If anyone has information about the incidents, call Miller at 252-2414.
