Man facing 6 charges after Minot carjacking

MINOT (AP) — A North Dakota man is facing several charges after a carjacking in Minot.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of a Minot business. Police said 25-year-old Glen Reiner, of Mandan, stole a vehicle after brandishing a weapon to force the occupants to exit the vehicle.

Reiner was apprehended later after a brief struggle with officers.

Reiner is charged with six counts, including armed robbery, criminal attempt to armed robbery and assault on a police officer.
