DOT plans Valley City meeting

Valley City area residents will have a chance to comment on proposed improvements to Interstate 94 near Exit 290, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.

A public input meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Jan. 18 at the Valley City Eagles Club, located at 345 12th Ave. NE.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the stabilization of the westbound roadway and reconstruction of damaged pavement and back slope stabilization to the eastbound exit ramp at Exit 290.

Stabilization is required due to an active landslide in the area and drainage improvements will be made to both locations, according to a press release from the NDDOT.

Individuals needing accommodations to attend the meeting can request assistance at 701-328-2978.
