Travel alerts issued in northern North Dakota
Travel advisories have been issued for the northern part of North Dakota Thursday morning, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
A travel alert remains in effect for northwestern North Dakota due to blowing snow. Communities in the alert include Williston, Watford City, crosby, Bowbells, Minot, Bottineau, Towner and surrounding areas.
A travel alert has also been issued for northeastern North Dakota includings the areas of Grand Forks, Grafton and Cavalier. Snow and blowing snow has reduced visibility in these areas.
Travelers should monitor road and weather conditions today and reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions.
