AgweekTV: North Dakota farmers are teaching those in need in Haiti
A group of North Dakota farmers is focusing on helping others. They're working with a non-profit christian group. It was created to help struggling farmers in Haiti, after the devastating earthquake five years ago. The group is called the international farming organization for sustainable development, or “IFO-SUD”.
Agweek reporter Mikkel Pates found out they've bought farmland in Haiti and a tractor, and are teaching Haitian farmers to raise livestock and more profitable crops.. in the hope of giving them a better life.
