The Vikings surprised one of their oldest fans with tickets to Sunday’s NFC divisional playoff game against the New Orleans Saints at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Millie Wall, a 99-year-old from Minneapolis, read aloud a letter from the Vikings inviting her to the game. When the news was shared, about 30 family members cheered.

“We know you will bring us luck as we enter into this playoff run and hope to bring it home,” Wall read. “Thanks for the years of supporting our team and making us a part of your life.”

Looking up from the letter, Wall said, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Wall, who will turn 100 in 2018, has been a Vikings fan since their first season in 1961. She has attended games at Met Stadium and the Packers’ Lambeau Field, but this will be her first game at U.S. Bank Stadium and her first Vikings playoff game.

Wall’s daughter, Ashley, posted the video on Twitter and will attend the game with Millie.

“I think it’s going to be just a really great experience,” Ashley told vikings.com. “We’re so excited as a family to watch her and watching her come to life.”
