Travel alert for northeastern N.D.

Blowing and drifting snow causing reduced visibility prompted a travel alert to be posted at 4 p.m., Sunday according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Cities included in the travel alert include Grand Forks, Grafton, Pembina, Cavalier and surrounding areas. Motorists can still travel in areas under a travel alert but should reduce speeds and drive according to changing conditions.
