Montpelier OK Club discusses old records

 

The Montpelier OK Club met Sept. 4 at Legacy Center in Jamestown for a noon lunch with eight members present. Elaine Heinrich opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag. Secretary and treasurer’s reports were read and approved. A card was sent to Harriet Kartes.

There was a discussion about what to do with old records and pictures people had stored over the years  No conclusion was reached. If anyone wants to see them, let the club know.

The door prize was won by Sharon Hatlewick.  Sonia Berg

made the motion to adjourn seconded by Patti DeBuck.

Hatlewick called bingo. Winners were: small picture frame,

Patti DeBuck, Marlys Boughton and Heinrich; large picture frame, Heinrich; blackout, DeBuck.

No whist was played.  

Pinochle winners were: MaryLee O'Mera, high, and Gerald Van Bruggen, low.

Boughton furnished lunch.  

The next meeting will be at noon Sept. 18. Guests are welcome.
