Blue Jay boys tennis falls at Patriots

The Jamestown High School boys tennis team lost its first West Region dual of the season Tuesday in Bismarck.

Bismarck Century (4-6, 2-1 WDA) swept all three doubles matches from the Blue Jays in a 6-3 victory. Ryder Lunzman, Kade Schmidt and Gage Orr all picked up wins in singles for Jamestown. Schmidt went the distance with the Patriots’ Jared Pitcher at No. 5, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Jamestown (5-4, 2-1 WDA) hosts Williston this Thursday, Sept. 13, beginning at 4:15 p.m. at Bolinger Courts.
