William "Bill" H. Snyder

Sept 12, 1945 - March 1, 2018

Bill passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, in the Sanford Bismarck Hospital, with his wife and family at his side.

Bill was born in Bothell, WA to Earl and LaVerne (Drake) Snyder.

Bill started his career, in the sanitation industry, helping his dad as a garbage man. He eventually worked his way up to managing the Seattle Transfer Station for Waste Management, from which he retired in Oct 1998. After moving to North Dakota in 1999, to be closer to his wife's parents, who were failing in health, he hired into the position of Sanitation Foreman with the City of Jamestown, retiring at the end of ten years and spent the next, nearly 5 years, bagging groceries at Hugo's, in Jamestown...a job he looked forward to eagerly, every day he was able to be there!

Bill lived a full and active life...and LOVED sharing his stories!

His family meant everything to him and he was always willing to lend a helping hand!

Bill enjoyed 19 years of serving God, 32 years of marriage to his wife, Linda, many years of fly-fishing trips with his brother Ed, and everything else he ever did!

He took extra-special delight in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
