14U girls all over Enderlin twice

The Jamestown 14U girls softball team outscored Enderlin 35-3 in a sweep in Casselton on Monday, improving to 10-0 on the season.

In the opener, Joey Kleinsasser had two hits, one a double, in a 16-1 win. Chloe Crabtree got the win to remain unbeaten on the season at 3-0.

Mariah Wick, Kelsey Goter and Halle Uehran also had hits. Kleinsasser (3), Uehran (2), Courtney Peterson, Lexi Paul, Wick, Amber Buskness, Molly Fritz, Olivia Nihill, Crabtree, Megan Scott and Goter scored.

In Game 2, Jamestown pounded out 15 hits with Buskness going 3-for-3 in a 19-2 win.

Olivia Nihill fired three no-hit innings. It was her second no-hitter of the season in upping her mark to 6-0.

Fritz, Sydney Soulis, Wick, Crabtree and Uehran added two hits each. Crabtree had a three-run double, while Uehran doubled twice. Nihill and Goter had one hits apiece.

Scoring runs in the victory were Wick (3), Nihill (2), Buskness (2), Fritz (2), Crabtree (2), Scott (2), Paul (2), Soulis, Uehran and Kleinsasser.
