Jimmie men dominate Wolf Pack

Carter Keller led the way for University of Jamestown men's basketball Tuesday night.

The sophomore guard nailed six 3-pointers and scored 22 points, leading the Jimmies to a 112-46 rout of Oak Hills Christian College at Harold Newman Arena.

Overall, Jamestown hit 17 3-pointers for a 41-percent shooting night from behind the arc. Jon Purintun (19 points), Christian Kvilvang (15), Leighton Sampson (13) and Kevin Oberweiser (10) also scored in double figures for UJ.

Senior forward Leighton Sampson led the Jimmies on the glass with 11 boards.

Up next for the Jimmies is a road game at Bellevue (Neb) this Saturday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.

The Jimmies return home to Newman Arena the following weekend to host Presentation College.
