Minot tops Jays

Jamestown High School's Ella Roaldson scored unassisted in the third period Friday night in Minot.

But the Blue Jay girls hockey team fell to the Majettes 7-1. Minot outshot Jamestown 43-7 in a game that only saw three minor penalties.

Roaldson's goal was Jamestown's first tally of the season. The Blue Jays (0-4) are at Williston today.

Jimmie men's hockey

The Jimmies men's hockey team fell to Minot State 4-1 Friday night at Wilson Arena. Stats were unavailable prior to press time.

The Jimmies travel to Minot State for a second game tonight at 8 p.m.
