Badal to retire in February

Jimmies take on Minot State tonight

The 10th-ranked University of Jamestown women’s basketball team returns to action tonight against an old conference foe.

The Jimmies (6-1) travel to Minot to face the Beavers in the dome.

The Jimmies enter the contest averaging just a shade under 90 points per game. Their only loss of the season is to No. 7 Northwestern (Iowa).

The Jimmes are coming off a weekend sweep in Seward, Neb., including a three-point win over No. 5 Concordia, Neb.

It’s the first two straight games against NCAA Division II  teams. After playing the 3-0 Beavers tonight, the Jimmies play at Augustana (S.D.) Saturday in Sioux Falls.

Both games are exhibitions, meaning they do not count in the win-loss record for the Jimmies.
