Television show seeks hero nominations
SCHEELS and “American Heroes Outdoors,” a locally produced television show, are teaming up to honor hometown heroes from communities across the Midwest.
The show tells the stories of service men and women. David Morse, the show’s host and former SCHEELS associate, served in Iraq. After he came back he organized fishing and hunting trips for veterans to bring them into the outdoors and help with the healing process.
Morse and the show’s producers are seeking nominations of people who have served our country and serve in our communities. There will be 13 people chosen and Morse and his team will create videos telling each person’s story of service and sacrifice. These stories will air during episodes of “American Heroes Outdoors.” Morse will also host the 13 people for an outdoors weekend retreat.
Any military, law enforcement, fire, or EMS service member is eligible for entry. For more information go to http://bit.ly/2BFmHlv.
