Blue Jay tennis tops Demons

The Jamestown High School boys tennis team won its second West Region contest Tuesday with an 8-1 victory over Bismarck High at Tom O'Leary Tennis Courts in the Capital City.

The top three singles players, Isaac Mimong, Ryder Pringle and Ryder Lunzman, all swept their respective matches in two sets. Overall, six of the eight Blue Jay wins came in straight sets.

The team of Mimong/Lunzman and Pringle/Kaden Williams won on the doubles side, while the Demons claimed their only victory at No. 3.

Jamestown (3-2 overall, 2-0 WDA) travels to Valley City for a non-conference match on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
