The inaugural Color Fun Run, a fundraiser for Stutsman County Relay for Life, raised about $5,000 on Saturday morning. Participants ran or walked a 5k course at McElroy Park and had handfuls of colored material thrown at them at different points on the course. Brief A5

Lincoln Elementary School students spent Tuesday doing activities and exercises with University of Jamestown Physical Education Student Organization members.This is the second time Lincoln Students have been able to participate in “Sports Day”, and this year activities were led by 11 UJ students. Kids participated in team and individual activities, and performed a dance routine at the end of the session.

The six-session activity focuses on life’s milestones and aims to glean advice, stories, memories and wisdom from the seniors. The paper cut designs are symbolic of different stages of life. The tree will become a permanent art piece for the facility.
