Kindergarten and pre-K students from Pingree/Buchanan Public School in Buchanan were excited Thursday with a surprise visit by Santa Claus. Santa handed out candy canes and sat for a group photo. Even the reindeer dog sat in for the photo.

On Wednesday , Roosevelt Elementary School in Jamestown had a sing-along before the Christmas break. A special surprise performance was announced with the teachers getting up in front of the school body and dancing to Christmas caroles.
