The Blue Jays held Williston to 19 first-half points en route to a 63-52 win at Jerry Meyer Arena. In the final game of Thursday's opening-round action of the Stutsman County Tournament at the Civic Center, newly ranked Carrington defeated South Border 65-41. The Cardinals, who are ranked 10th in the latest Class B poll, got a game-high 20 points from junior Garrett Bickett. Bryce Edland added 16 and Kolton Vetter chipped in 14 more for the Cardinals. Bryton Dewald led South Border offensively scoring 16 points. Tristan Lippert also reached double-digits with 14 for the Mustangs.
