Carole was born to parents, Emil Arthur and Laura Marie (Hall) Mahlke in Valley City, ND, on July 9, 1938. Carole grew up in Wimbledon, ND, and after graduation moved to Fargo, ND, where she met her future husband. Carole married Wesley Eugene (Gene) Jensen of Williston, ND, on December 12, 1959. Carole and Gene resided in Fargo, ND, San Antonio, TX, Shawnee Mission, KS, Overland Park, KS, and Faucett, MO.

James Anthony Carlascio, 88, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, James-town. James Anthony Carlascio was born March 10, 1925 to Joseph and Julia (Wall) Carlascio in Jamestown, North Dakota. He attended St. James Academy in Jamestown. Jim entered the military service in 1943, served as First Scout for the 3rd Army Division in Germany. He was wounded and captured in Italy. He spent two years as a prisoner of war in Germany. Jim was awarded the Purple Heart. He hired out on the Northern Pacific Railroad as a brakeman, soon he was promoted to conductor.
Gary Lee Jensen, Sr., age 53, of Grand Forks, ND, lost his courageous battle with cancer at Valley Eldercare Nursing Center in Grand Forks, ND. Gary was born on October 16, 1959, the son of Clarence D. and Eunice (Lange) Jensen in Carrington, ND. He grew up in various towns in ND calling Carrington his home town. Gary worked with the Carrington Police Department in 1977-78. He worked for the State of ND Dept. of Transportation Truck Regulatory Division on August 14, 1978 to July 1983, when the division was merged with ND Highway Patrol Motor Carrier.
Timothy Paul "Tim" Seitz, 47, Fargo, formerly Jamestown, N.D., died Friday, July 12, 2013 in his home under the care of his family and Hospice of the Red River Valley after a courageous battle with cancer. Tim was born January 24, 1966, to Henry and Viola "Vi" (Weispfenning) Seitz. He attended St. John's Academy in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1984. He enlisted in the United States Army and was deployed to South Korea. He spent two and a half years in the army and was honorably discharged in 1987. He met the love of his life Bonnie Schmit at 18.

Susan C. Sorenson, 98, Jamestown, ND died Friday, July 12, 2013 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown. Susan Cebula was born August 11, 1914 on a farm in Ashland Township, the daughter of Beryl and Lucy (Kulink) Cebula. Susan married Ernest "Bubs" Sorenson on March 20, 1937 and they lived and operated a farm near Buchanan, raising two children, Gordon and Karen.
Eugenia "Jean" Harr, 87, of Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown. Eugenia "Jean" Harr (Soulis) was born to John M. Sr. and Alice V. (Kimberly) Soulis, at home in Jamestown, ND on June 17, 1926. She was baptized at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis on April 24, 1927. Jean was named and sponsored by Peter and Marjorie Zappas and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND by Rev. Joseph J. Johnson, in June of 1940.
