Clifford H. Heer, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at his home surrounded by family in his 80th year. Cliff was born July 21, 1929 in a little house north of Nickeus Park in Jamestown, the son of Chris P. and Martha (Hieb) Heer. He was raised and attended school in James-town, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1948. He worked as a brakeman for the Northern Pacific Railroad, until his National Guard Unit was called up during the Korean Conflict on January 6, 1951.

Rhonda Erfle Olson, 49, Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Bowdon, N.D., and Bismarck, N.D., died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in Scottsdale. Rhonda Kay Erfle was born Oct. 14, 1959, in Harvey, N.D., the daughter of Roger and Shari (Suckut) Erfle. She grew up and attended school in Bowdon, and graduated from Bowdon High School in 1977. She then worked at the Bank of North Dakota in Bismarck before moving to Texas. Upon returning to North Dakota, she worked for Frontier Directory Co., Bismarck. She married Dennis Olson on March 25, 1999, in Arizona where they have lived for the past 10 years.
Mary Lou Franklin Campbell, 77, Jamestown, formerly of Scappoose, Ore., died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, James-town. Mary Lou Franklin was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Charles William and Mary Lou (McKissack) Franklin. She grew up on the family farm in Cherry Hills, Colo., and attended school in Denver. She attended junior high school in Portland, Ore., and graduated from Lincoln High School, Oregon, in 1949. She attended Oregon State University and majored in home economics. She married Henry G. "Gill" Campbell on Sept.
Robert Luke Hodgson, 72, Jamestown, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his home. Mr. Hodgson was born on June 1, 1937, at Cairo, Neb., the son of Clyde and Rosemary (O'Brien) Hodgson. He attended elementary school in Woodriver, Neb., where he graduated from high school in 1955. He moved to Longmont, Colo., where he worked with the railroad. He married LaVonne Julson on March 29, 1959, in Denver, Colo. They lived in Longmont until 1966. In 1967 they moved to Plaza, N.D., where he worked for Mountrail County Road Crew until 1968.
