Bellevue University snapped a four-match losing streak in men's soccer Wednesday night at the Jimmie turf.
The Bruins' senior forward Inaki Aldao increased his team lead in goals scored this season to 12 with a hat trick in a 6-0 shutout over the Jimmies. Senior midfielder Toby Millward also tallied twice and assisted Aldao's third goal in the 69th minute, as the Bruins outfired the Jimmies 8-0 on shots on goal.

Jamestown did get off six shots that missed the mark but trailed the Bruins 14-6 in total shots taken. UJ freshman goalkeeper Hunter Ehlers was able to come away with a pair of saves in the contest.

Aldao scored twice in the first half, helping the Bruins lead 3-0 by the 29th minute and 3-0 at the half. Millward's tallies -- one being a penalty kick in the 75th minute -- found the mesh after the break, as he has now scored eight times in nine matches for the 5-4 Bruins.
UJ has scored just two goals over its last three matches and fell to 1-4 overall. The Jimmies resume Great Plains Athletic Conference play Saturday facing Dordt University (3-7, 2-5 GPAC) in Sioux Center, Iowa.
