Ag Department holding meeting on CBD

The North Dakota Department of Agriculture will be hosting a meeting on growing, harvesting and processing cannabidiol (CBD) hemp from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 19, at the Ramada Hotel Bismarck, 1400 East Interchange Ave., Bismarck.

“This is an opportunity for North Dakota farmers to learn about CBD hemp production,” Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring said. “The meeting will cover state law, hemp pests and diseases, and processing. Two current hemp producers will also share their insights.”

The meeting will not cover the use or retail side of CBD.
