Amanda Thrift, Noah Sloka hired for positions at First Community Credit Union

Sloka was an intern before moving into a new position.

First Community Credit Union recently hired Amanda Thrift as the Jamestown retail manager and Noah Sloka as a financial services officer. Both will be located at the Jamestown main ranch at 111 9th St. SW.

Thrift, originally from Jamestown, graduated from Rasmussen University with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2010. Thrift brings 10 years of experience in the financial industry to FCCU including eight years as a branch manager.

“I am excited to start my career at FCCU because they truly put their communities first and encourage community involvement which is one of my passions,” Thrift said.

Sloka, originally from State College, Pennsylvania, grew up in Garrison, N.D. Sloka completed his internship with FCCU. Sloka graduated from the University of Jamestown with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in financial planning and a minor in accounting.

“I am looking forward to my new position with FCCU because I get to interact with and help our members every day," he said. "I went into financial planning so that I could help people and with this new role I will be able to do exactly that."
