The Great Plains Food Bank has selected officers for its 12-member board of directors. Jessica Edland of Jamestown, who is employed at North Dakota Farmers Union, was elected secretary.
“At the Great Plains Food Bank, our board of directors play a critical role in our mission to end hunger through community partnerships,” said Steve Sellent, Great Plains Food Bank CEO. “Each member of our board shares our values of passion, service and innovation and we are thankful for their leadership and commitment to the more than 97,000 children, seniors and families struggling with hunger who turn to us for food assistance.”
Once elected, each member of the Great Plains Food Bank Board of Directors serves a three-year term.
