High Point Networks LLC will present a free presentation on "Cyber Security Training" from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. The program will be hosted by Jamestown Regional Entrepreneur Center and will be in room 136 of the Unruh-Sheldon Building on the University of Jamestown campus.
James Maguire, a senior security engineer, will present the program. The agenda will cover the following topics: why cyber attacks are so prevalent, shopping for malware, looking at leaked passwords, what makes passwords weak, common password attacks, password best practices, and spear phishing vs. traditional email phishing.
