Anne Carlsen Center has named Michael "Mike" Meyer as chief development officer. Meyer joins the organization to lead and serve the development and marketing teams.
Most recently, serving as the managing director of development at North Dakota State University Foundation in Fargo, Meyer brings over 30 years of marketing and fundraising experience along with a strong grasp on managing a development team, said ACC. Although serving Anne Carlsen statewide, he will be officed in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
“Mike brings strong relationship skills and a very caring heart to the role of leading the development team at Anne Carlsen,” said Tim Eissinger, CEO. “He will play a key part as we finalize our capital campaign and prepare to celebrate our 80th anniversary this year. We feel very fortunate to add a person of Mike’s abilities to the Anne Carlsen team.”
Bringing extensive background in development and fundraising in previous roles including Special Olympics of North Dakota, University of Minnesota – Crookston, University of North Dakota, associate vice president at California Baptist University and vice president at Life Pacific University. Meyer also brings a diverse background in marketing and a said he has a passion for Anne Carlsen’s mission of making the world a more inclusive place where independence is a gift to all.
