JAMESTOWN — Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens recently accepted a position on the Mid-America Chamber Executives (MACE) Board of Directors.

MACE is made up of chamber professionals in the six-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. MACE is the go-to organization for chamber news, resources and networking in the Upper Midwest and is served by a board of directors.

The board of directors represent each of the six states in MACE and includes a representative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the conference host city’s local chamber and staff from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of each state.

“I’m excited to join an extremely talented and dedicated group,” Bivens said. “Being a
part of the board of directors will afford me the ability to hone my own skills in leading the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce while also working alongside some of the
very best chamber executives in the six states MACE includes.”

The board of directors is nominated by members of MACE for a two-year term.
