The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce's Ag and Energy Committee will be awarding the Agriculture Woman of the Year award in July.

The award will recognize a woman in the Jamestown area for the hard work she does in agriculture. This award is based on the woman’s involvement in agriculture, on the farm/ranch, in her community, with youth and with local, regional and national agriculture organizations.

The candidate should live within 75 miles of Jamestown and be notified of the nomination. The award winner will be recognized at the Annual Farmers Appreciation Banquet on Thursday, July 14, at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds. The deadline to nominate someone is June 30. Nomination forms can be found at or by calling the Jamestown Area Chamber at 701-252-4830.
