Cody Koenig hired at Dakota Valley Electric Co-op

Cody Koenig achieved journeyman lineworker status in 2020, after completing a four-year apprenticeship, including home study and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training.

Cody Koenig has been hired to fill a journeyman lineworker position at Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative’s Edgeley service center.

In this position, Koenig will work with the co-op’s electric power line construction and maintenance crews.

Koenig is a Gackle native. He studied at the Energy Center for Excellence at Bismarck State College and received an applied science degree in Bismarck State's lineworker program.

Koenig achieved journeyman lineworker status in 2020, after completing a four-year apprenticeship, including home study and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training. Previously, Koenig was employed as an apprentice lineworker for Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. in western North Dakota, and he worked most recently as a journeyman lineworker at MDU’s Bismarck outpost.
