The North Dakota School Business Manager Certification Program has announced that Dana Ekren of the Kensal Public School District has earned her certification after completing 61 credit hours of coursework. A completion ceremony was held in Bismarck on June 18.
Established in 2013, the North Dakota School Business Manager Certification Program provides business managers practical education and training to help them successfully perform their responsibilities under state law. Courses are taught by superintendents and state officials who are experts in their respective fields. The program is administered by the North Dakota School Boards Association in partnership with the North Dakota Association of School Business Managers. It was started with the assistance of a state legislative grant.
