Correctional Officer Douglas Diekevers was chosen as employee of the month of September for the James River Correctional Center. Diekevers has worked numerous posts and has shown to be very capable wherever he is placed, his supervisors said. He has been known to work four to five different posts in the same week. His communicates well with staff and residents.
Diekevers was chosen for the award due to his work ethic and his dedication to the James River Correctional Center.
