Correctional Officer Gerald Erickson was chosen as Employee of the Month for May for the James River Correctional Center. Erickson works mainly in the Special Assistance Unit where he handles situations with care, wisdom and in a professional manner, officials said. Erickson is able to fill in for supervisory staff.
Erickson was chosen for the award due to his work ethic and his contributions to the JRCC.
