Correctional Officer Kyle Johnson was chosen as January employee of the month for the James River Correctional Center.
Johnson was recently assigned to the second floor. His supervisors said he brings knowledge and communications skills to the unit. He also trains new officers and helps other departments as needed.
Johnson was chosen for the award due to his contributions to the James River Correctional Center.
