Lifetime Vision 20/20 was voted as the Best Eye Clinic in the Best of the Jamestown Area.
Professional Eyecare Center and Looysen I Care were the other finalists for the Best of the Jamestown Area.
Jake Clapham, practice manager at Lifetime Vision, said it means a lot that voters named the eye clinic the Best of the Jamestown Area because of the pandemic and trying to make everyone feel safe and comfortable.
“We just still want to make sure everybody gets that same quality of care that we have been doing for decades,” he said.
What separates Lifetime Vision from other clinics is the entire staff that includes 14 people and their attention to detail.

“From everyone from our business office who takes care of insurance and checking in and out our patients all the way up to the doctors who take care of them, everyone seems to have a firm grasp of patients’ needs and also what they need essentially,” he said. “With COVID and everything else, it’s been a stressful time for everybody. I really appreciate that the whole team has really hunkered down and not let any of that get in the way of the quality that this office can provide.”
Clapham said people come back year after year even if they live two to three hours away from Jamestown.
“They are still coming back here because they know what kind of service they get here,” he said. “Before and after the pandemic, that does not change.”
The eye clinic changed its name from Lifetime Vision Source to Lifetime Vision 20/20 about 18 months ago, he said.
“It was just a little bit of rebranding and just a little bit of a fresh start for the company,” he said.
Lifetime Vision offers general comprehensive eye exams, does referrals for cataract and Lasik patients and provides InfantSee exams - exams for children younger than 1 year old, Clapham said. Lifetime Vision also offers contact lenses and glasses, treatment for dry eyes and blue light protection, according to its website.
